(MegaMobile), the mobile communications subsidiary of publicly listed IT company IPVG Corp. (PSE: IP). Under the agreement, newly issued shares will be acquired by LINQ representing thirty percent (30%) of the outstanding shares of MegaMobile, plus a further forty percent (40%) of the company acquired from the original shareholders (post infusion) by way of secondary purchase. The principal shareholders in this transaction are IPVG and the original shareholders of MegaMobile. Upon completion of the said transaction, the shareholding pattern of MegaMobile would be 70% for LINQ and 30% for MegaMobile’s original shareholders. MegaMobile is a fast growing Mobile value-added services (VAS) enabler and aggregator with its own unified access code across all the mobile carriers in the Philippines. Makati City, 2 December 2009 -- BTI Global Communications Japan Inc., the Tokyo-based subsidiary of one of the Philippines’ premier telecommunications companies Bayan Telecommunications Inc., announced recently that the company has signed a contract with IP Converge Data Center, Inc. (IP-Converge), the information technology and telecommunications subsidiary of publicly-listed IPVG Corp (PSE:IP), for an International Private Lease Circuit (IPLC) with bandwidth capacity of STM-4 or 620Mbps.
